FREIGHT LOUNGE SELECT IS A SEMI-EXCLUSIVE NETWORK

Freight Lounge is a semi-exclusive network. Every applicant is reviewed to protect the quality, reliability and balance of the member base.

HOW TO BECOME A FREIGHT LOUNGE MEMBER?

We feel that it is of the utmost importance that each member of The Freight Lounge Network contributes and participate actively in the Network.

In order to apply for Freight Lounge Network membership, you are required to complete our standard application form and you agree to our general terms and conditions, code of conduct and website user terms.

After application your company will be thoroughly screened not only for financial stability, security risks (KYC) , but also for the specifics of your organization by conducting a back ground check with industry references. Non-compliance on any of these matters may lead to a non-approval of the membership.

After approval of your application and payment of the membership fee, your company profile will be activated and you can complete your details and add your key contacts, your profile will then be visible to all network members.

We will further send an announcement message to all network members as an introduction to your company.

WHO CAN APPLY?

Your company must:

  • Be an independent freight forwarder
  • Have at least two years of operating history
  • Demonstrate adequate financial solvency
  • Pass the required financial and background checks
  • Preferably have not more than three branch offices (In other than your own country) .
  • Provide two references from freight forwarding partners in other countries.
  • Agree to the Freight Lounge Terms and Conditions, User Terms and Code of Conduct

Companies with extensive branch networks outside their home country may be reviewed separately to protect the network’s focus on independent forwarders.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM A FREIGHT LOUNGE NETWORK MEMBER

  • Promote their services accurately within the network
  • Cooperate with other members and support reciprocal business
  • Respond to enquiries quickly and professionally
  • Maintain high operational and service standards
  • Honor payment and credit terms agreed with other members
  • Report serious operational and financial irregularities
  • Share relevant ideas and information that can improve the network
  • Follow applicable laws and international trade regulations
  • Attend the Annual Global Meeting at least once every two years.

We will supply you with development tools and applications, web-based support and technological advice. We will also create that edge for you to be more competitive as an independent forwarder towards global international conglomerates.
