1. How do I become a Freight Lounge member?
You need to “REGISTER” yourself via our website. After you fulfilled our short register form, you will receive a system generated url with the complete application form.
You need to fill in this application form and submit it in order to complete final application for membership. Your application will be reviewed by Freight Lounge administrator, operational and financial background checks will be applied and after approval the administrator will send you the membership invoice by email. After payment of invoice and receipt of funds, the administrator will activate your account upon which your company details will be visible in the network’s membership database. An introduction message will be send to all members. After activation you can maintain and personalize your own profile page.
2. Why do I need to fill in the complete application form before I can become a member?
We have a thorough screening process in order to ensure that our network can uphold the highest of quality, that our network is active and that our members will support and coöperate with the network. It’s therefore of the utmost importance that we select quality companies with sufficiënt background and volumes that will attribute to a complete range of services and possibilities in each and every country. You want to be ensured that all your logistic needs are met in the network, and so it is important for our network to know specifically what every member does, what their activities are and what services they provide.
3. What is the membership term of validation?
Memberships are activated for the duration of 1 year.  Your membership starts on the day payment has been received and ends on the same date the next year.  Memberships are not automatically renewed. 1 month before expiration, you will receive a notification message of your membership expiring. Your membership will be renewed after new payment has been received.
4. How much time will it take after payment received before my membership is activated?
In principal your account will be activated within 2 hours after payment is received, taking in account our administration office is located in Europe, Netherlands and so we apply 08.30 am as start time to this time zone as date received for payment.
5. What does it mean to be a Free Visitor?
To apply as a free visitor will give you the extra benefit of being able to see our news page and tool page. On the tool page we have some interesting tools that especially forwarding companies can make use of, like world clocks, port codes, important marine news sites, container dimensions and many more.
6. I am a Free Visitor and want to become a Member, what action do I need to take?
To become a member of Freight Lounge you need to proceed with our normal registration process.

7. What does the luxury package include?
The Luxury Package is merely your entrance fee to our annual global network meeting.  If you book this package at an early stage you will attend the meeting at early bird discount rate.
At this discount rate you will also enjoy some additional benefits at time of meeting.
The Luxury Package does not include your hotel accommodation nor your travel expenses.

 

8. I have submitted my application form; how long will it take before I can be approved as member?
It’s our aim to complete the approval process within a week. If due to certain circumstances this process cannot be completed in time, we will inform you of the progress of your application and the reasons for delay.
9. Will my membership be automatically renewed?
No, your membership will not be automatically renewed. 1 month before the expiration date you will receive a notification from the administrator that your membership will expire. Your membership will only be renewed after the new payment on membership has been received.
When your membership has expired and your payment for new membership has not been received, all applications and rights on your membership will temporarily be on hold and cannot be accessed until payment is received.
If your payment is not received within 1 month after expiration date, your account will be de-activated and your information will be deleted from our databases.

When your payment is received before your expiration date the new term of membership will start on the date your old term will expire for the duration of a year.

10. Who can I contact for general inquiries?
You can find our “CONTACT” details on our website under Main Menu  FREIGHTLOUNGE/CONTACT.

You can also send messages to info@freightlounge.com. If you are logged in you have access to the database and you can also contact the administrator “ONLINE”.

11. How can I terminate my account?
Send an email to the Freight Lounge Administrator.

IMPORTANT: if your account is deactivated  you have no longer access to the tools and applications and you can no longer claim rights on membership.  Membership fees are not refunded.
